Why You Need Me
April, 2013
Just having a little fun. Seven reasons why I think you need me to work for you.
- Because I'm the "good help" you're always told you can't hire.
- I create wealth. I work for you; you get the wealth. It's a nice formula.
- I don't need to take up any of your office space.
- Everyone should experience my biting sarcasm for an extended period of time in their lives.
- I don't mince words, so conversations with me are shorter and that leaves more time for productivity and beer.
- I live in the Eastern time zone so if you don't, I can give you advance warning on sunset -- I'd give you warnings about sunrise too, but I don't like being up that early.
- I've been cutting code for 25 years -- I don't need to be told how to do my job (in fact, I don't like to be told how to do my job).
Now, that's all well and good, but what I'd really like to know is, why do YOU think you need me?
